Project Coordinator
Dr. İbrahim EFE holds an MA degree from Lancaster University, having authored a thesis on the "Representation of Türkiye in the EU Plenary Debates." He further earned his PhD from Lancaster University, UK. Proficient in teaching a diverse array of courses, including Turkish Foreign Policy, International Relations, and Middle Eastern Politics, Dr. EFE has imparted his knowledge at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His current scholarly focus revolves around migration management and the effective implementation of policies in Türkiye. Dr. EFE is actively engaged in exploring discourses related to the internationalization of Turkish higher education and the integration of Syrian students into the Turkish higher education system. Demonstrating leadership, he has successfully coordinated various research projects and contributed as a researcher in others.
Academic Coordinator
Dr. ULKER received his MA in religion and political life from Manchester University, UK and his PhD in sociology of religion from Istanbul University. He has taught various courses on Sociology of Art, Contemporary Sociological Theories, Social Movements, Sociology of Religion at undergraduate and graduate levels. His current research focuses on Turkish Culture and Arts, Culture and Religion, Culturel Policies and migration studies. He is currently employed at the Department of Theology and Religious Studies of Kilis 7 Aralık University.

Dr. Bilal GORENTAS received his MA from Durham University, UK and his PhD from Southampton University, UK with a thesis titled “Nation, bordering and identity on the border between Türkiye and Iraq”. He has taught various courses on Globalisation and Development, Border and Identity, Nation and Nationalism, Territory and Nation State at undergraduate and graduate levels. His current research focuses on Ecological Crisis, Nationalism Studies and Border Studies. He is currently employed at the Department of Geography of Kilis 7 Aralık University.

Dr. Muzeyyen PANDIR received her MA from Coventry University, UK and her received PhD from Lancester University, UK with a thesis titled “Orientalism in the EU context: A critical analysis of EU narratives on Europe and Türkiye”. She has taught varous courses on Cultural Studies, Introduction to Sociology, Popular Culture and Media at undergraduate and graduate levels. She current research focuses on Critical migration and refugee studies, social cohesion, identity and difference. She is currently employed at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of Işık University.

Dr. Sylva Řezníková is a Senior Lecturer in the Law Department at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Czechia. She holds a Ph.D. in Law and Linguistics from Lancaster University, with her dissertation focusing on Language Rights of Minorities and Immigrants in Czechia and Poland. Dr. Řezníková has a diverse teaching experience, serving as the Course Convenor for Law in English Courses at the Czech University of Life Sciences since 2015. Her research interests encompass languages in law, minority language rights, critical discourse analysis, legal definitions of national minorities, institutional discrimination, minority marginalization in administrative proceedings, and courtroom discourse.

Dr. Yusuf AVAR received his MA from Marmara University, with thesis titled “Europeanization of German Foreign Policy: The EU’s Soft Power in the Case of the Russia-Ukraine Conflict”. He submitted his PhD thesis at the Marmara University, with a thesis titled “The EU’s Normative Paradox: The Cases of Hungary and Poland”. He has taught various courses on Türkiye and EU at undergraduate levels. His current research focuses on European Union Politics, Türkiye’s Integration Process with the EU, The EU’s Normbased Power. He is currently employed at the International Relations Office of Kilis 7 Aralık University.
Researcher
Abdussamed OZBEK received his MA with a thesis on Political Philosophy from Sivas Cumhuriyet University, and he continues a PhD thesis on Digital Governmentality from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. His current research focuses on Techonlogy and Politics. He is currently employed at the Department of Politics and Public Administration of Kilis 7 Aralık University.
